Living on the west coast is great. We don't get much snow - just about one inch a year! Some friends who are migrating to Toronto want to know how cold does it really get. How do you guys manage? Is there special winter clothes you have?

Thanx in advance!

Videsee, This is what many people ask. According to me, the cold does not make much difference, once it reaches 0. I mean 0 degree or -10 degree has same effect. The reason being you are alreday covered with appropriate clothings.

What I don't like is snow. It makes life difficult and risky, perticularly when you have to trave 50-60 kms a day.

Regarding clothes, I think it should be same as BC. You have to go for anything with hood as it requires. Sometimes we need to wear hand-gloves, thermals, ear-cap etc.

I will be putting Videos on Winter in Canada soon in the Video Section. The videos will show snow, people, people driving, snow, snow and snow! ;)

Thanks.

Rashmi.

Welcome to Toronto! :)

So you felt that it is not so cold! Or the video was not conveying that?
