Hi. Me and my wife just moved from Toronto to Perth, ON.
We have called up each of the 12 doctors that we have in this small town of 7,000 people. Not one of the doctors is accepting new patients.
Is this the end of OHIP for us? What can we do if none of the doctors is willing to be our Family Doctor? Any remedy for us? Any suggestions please.

This is not the end of OHIP. Unfortunately this just means that you will not have a family doctor.
If no doctor is willing to accept you as their patients, then you only have 3 chocies.
1. Use the nearest hospital emergency for each and every illness (Hospitals - even emergency, generally maintain a file for you).
2. Use any walk-in clinic available in your small town (They generally maynot maintain a file for you-so this means that every time you use it , it is upto the doctors imagination to guess your past medical history based on your input.if you take your previous medication, then probably he can trace your medical history).
e.g. for the past 3 years, i have been using the same walk-in clinic in Mississauga to contain my high blood pressure. Each time i meet a new doctor who just takes my blood pressure and prescribes me a new kind of treatment each time. One time it is pills, the second advise to be on a diet, the 3 rd. time to excercise 4th time not to come to a walk in clinic but to find a family doctor 5th time to change my profession/ lifestyle/ eating habits etc...
3. Use the emergency or walk-in clinic of the nearby town.
Welcome to the reality of medical care in Canada.

Sidenote : You may also contact your MP or MPP for recommendation to a doctor/ discussion in the assembly/ parliment. Another alternative is to write to the College of Physicians and request them a solution. Remember only the crying baby gets milk.

walk in clinics generally do maintain a file for you.

I like the expression u used " crying baby gets milk".
Theone that is commonly used here is "squeaky wheel gets the grease"

For High Blood pressure

Try drinking a tsp "organic" apple cider vinegar with honey (once a day) in a glass of water and have 2 bananas in the morning.

Quit alcohol, coffee, tea and you should see some good results in a month.

Try excersing for atleast 20 minutes a day .
