If you gave a mastercard number it should start with a 5 like 5446 or 5191. Visa card starts with 4 like 4502 or whatever.Usually when you charge something over the phone, the company's software usually sniffs out whether it is visa or mastercard from the first 4 digits

What I can figure out is that agent checked my credit with the right number, right bank and got an approval to go ahead. When agent punched into system by mistake selected visa instead of master card. As it was pre-approved service they went ahead and provided me services.....rest of the portion I am not able to figure out why they have not contacted me yet. I have decided to wait and take a chance. It was not my fault any way so why should I worry.
