I came to india and married indian girl and the marriage was registered in the city..


Can i submit the certificate for sponorship.. We did NOT do the court marriage .. but got our marriage registered.. Will CIC accept this ..

Of course i have all other document like telephone. wedding card, correspondence. pictures ( wedding , reception and honeymoon) honeymoon trip etc..

pls clarify

If you got marriage certificate, it should be enough.

lots of temples and priests also give marriage certificates but those are not enough.
You need a Govt. marriage certification from the territory where you got married.
eg if you guyz got married in Delhi then you need certification from SDM office.
