Hello Crisraj,
Take a flight from where you are starting to arrive in Montreal. There is no problems with immigrations there. They speak good english and are bi-lingual. (Speak English and French).
Contact similar services provided to New immigrants in Montreal and the area where you are heading to, if it is not in the city. It will be interesting to note how they post their ads there for the accomodations that they rent. The area is well networked and the transportation system is good too. Initially, you will experience the language difficulties. After you start to learn, if you have not done that already to score more points for your entry, you will find it easier to get by with a little conversational French. There are community and affinity groups, similar to the one that you experience on this CD website here, that will provide you with similar service and guidance.
Google and find or name your preference and someone might have come
across them already or can provide you with a link to their location before you get here.
Bon Voyage and safe landing.
P.S. Theere are not many flights to Montreal from where you are heading. You might have to transfer and wait and also hang around airports extensively, just to LAND there. So, be guided. Some times the connecting flights are missed due to delays from where you are coming from and the time taken to head from one terminal to the next. Watch out for these. Your first experience ought to be a good one to enjoy the rest of your stay in this country.
Freddie.
