Hi Guys

Just wanted to quickly check if any body can advice me on good apartment complex near Old Montreal (H3c2m1) ( I am seeking 2Bd, 1bath)

I am also seeking for a good independent school (elementary) near the apartment complex.

Please help me, As i am planning to move before Aug 28th.

(I did try on google to get as many hits for the apartment complex, honestly did not find many..guess they are listed in french! and I don't know French)

Thanks for your time.

Regards
Crisraj

The area with the Postal Code Montréal, QC H3C 2M1 is the old Montreal area. I see you have done some digging yourself and come up with a few facts. Hence, here is my take on that area. It is an old area and the improvements are surely worth appreciating. Currently there are hundreds of tourists and the traffic is unwieldy. As regards schools in that area, if at all, there will be only ONE. But if you equate the cost of travel and rent to any location, it will come up to the same level, even if you are working there. Hence you have to move to an area where you will have some neighbours with whom you would like to chit chat over the fence or knock on the door and watch hockey or a ball game with a few brewskis, if it is an apartment. The decision is yours and do some leg work after you get there and then settle down. September 5th is the firsty day of school (not the 8th Sept. as I mentioned elsewhere, I looked at the wrong month, in fact it was this month as I glanced over my shoullder.) So you will have a week to do all of the needful for the schools, before you start to work.
So, be guided. Talk to some one there and then decide.

Happy hunting,

Freddie
