Hi MI

The brochure says shared washrooms and showers on the floor. Does that mean we share the washroom with all the other occupants on the same floor. Pardon my ignorance but I was planning to visit Montreal and searched and found this page, so this question.

Also How about Algonquin park? I read a couple of threads on Algonquin but could not find a link to a hotel or a resort. Camping is not for me because my wife is against it. Any one has suggestions for a hotel near the park.

You may want to check this website out - http://hojo.csu.qc.ca/

On a side note - I think you meant inexpensive since cheap is not the same as inexpensive.

They have suites with private washrooms as well .

For Algonquinn there are planty of places all around huntsville, from Deerhurst resort (about 40 minutes from the park to Blue spruce inn (5 minutes form the park)
Blue spruce is very nice as well with great location and value. Try this link
