I bought a house in last Oct thr' agent. At that time as requried I entered into contarct agreement that I would buy/sell house thr' this particular agent only. My agent has put the expiry date of the contract in 2007.
Now I want to sell the house but not thr' the particular agent. He said he could not cancel the contract. Is that true? Am I stuck with him? Or is it possible to cancel the contract?
One of my friend said that once you bought house thr' the agent the contract is no loger valid. Is that so?

There are two different contracts for buying and selling. They cannot be the same. Did you sign two different contracts?
