Anyone has experienced (1000island,Moneteral, ottawa) 3 nights tour by chinese tour operators. Like Safeway tours, Jaaco tours etc. I have a chinese collegaue and she says that its a good deal @ 100$ per person that includes staying @ hotel and travel cost (food is not included in that). Just want to get some thought from canadian desis if anyone has had experience.

I visited Quebec/Montreal from Jacco Tours. It was really bad experience for me. All other passengers were chines. Even tour guide also was not able to speak English. Bus stop for lunch/dinner at chines resturant. As I am vagetrian I hardly eat anything...

I was doing some research in Tai-pan tours as I was planning to go on one. I finally did not go on Tai-pan but went on my own with friends.

My friend told me that the food is mainly chinese but hotels were very good. For montreal and other tours they mainly put the pax in Hilton. For Canadian tours they donot provide food but as you said they might be stopping at chinese restaurants which may not be a big problem for us. But I was hoping they would stop at some central place where you can get chinese as well as other stuff like McDonalds.
