Hello there,
I need a help from experts from this group. I am a permanent residence of Canada and I am moving to USA on H1B visa. I have completed my stay time to be a Canadian citizen and by mid 2007 I will become a Canadian citizen. After that I will apply for a green card in the USA. My question is : is there any difference for timeline to get a Green card for Canadian citizen?
Thanks in advance for all your help. Wishing you a great day.
Many thanks and kind regards,
VP

Hi Vim,
If you are going to US on H1B visa why are you worried about TN visa. Just take Canadian Citizenship. You dont need TN Visa if you have H1B. If you get a TN Visa and apply Grren Card directly, your TN Visa may be cancelled as it is for temporary period of 1 year and you can use it only to work not to apply for GC. So why will you apply for TN then H1B and then GC. You already have H1B and file GC, so forget about TN now. Hope this helps........
Hi vim_1008,
The timeline depends on the country where you were born even though you are a Canadian citizen now.
This Q is a very \"LONG\" ! one for EB-3 may be 12 years ?.

who would make you starve, if you don't.'"
