If it is around Christmas time, it will be very expensive. If you try to go after New Yr, it is very cheap as it is lean season.

Usually the peak period starts around Dec 8th or so, depending on the closest Friday.

it is probably too late now for a good deal.....I booked mid August and I could not find the dates I wanted but was able to utilize my Christmas and New Years Holidays .....you can look up any desi newspaper they have lot of agents....or PM me the names of agents I contacted.

I have found that if you are willing to travel on the 24th-26th or around the new year, you might get a good deal (relatively speaking, considering that fares will be on the higher side)
