hi everybdy
i've been living in canada for past two years. i have a credit card with cibc for more than one year. i was wondering if anybody can help me how to get a line of credit and which bank in better.
my family is coming to toronto next month and i might need some extra cash for initial expences since i have no savings at all at this point. any help regarding this matter much appriciated

You should approach your own bank (the bank you have been banking with for the past 2 years and have credit card with them) and as they have your credit history, they would be the one to most likely approve you for personal line of credit at relatively better rate.
