Congrats TK
What model of Mazda did you get
90K for a 8 yr old car is ok as long as it checks out on Carfax
My friend has a 01 Civic (he is not selling) which has 71K on it. They have 3 cars in the household so 90K is less but not surprising.

Chittesh,
I got a Mazda Protege (It is a 1.8L vehicle or a 1.6L one).
But I got cheated. The Engine is overheating and it is currently in a service centre while the mechanic would look at what it wrong and would give us an estimate on how much to fix it.
It was just after a day that I bought it that I found out this problem.
Is there any way I can go back to the seller and recover some money? The car was certified before being given to me.

Did you do a cafax check on it.
Did the car have service records
Let me know what the service technician is saying the problem is and how much is he asking to fix it

Guys,
Thanks for all the help.
The radiator did not have any fluid in it and hence it was topped up. The cost came to $100. The car is fine for 5 months now.
I have another question for CD's :
Does any one of you own a Mazda Protege car? How many Kms. per litre of Gas do you get.
Mine is used only for within the city driving and I see that it gives me only 74 kms a litre. Is this normal for this kind of Car.
I also own a Toyota corolla and it gives me 10.5 km / litre within the city and 13.3 kms / litre on the highway.
CD's experiences welcomed. I hope we can make a comparision on which car is the most fuel efficient.
Wonder how much do compact American car's give.
Is there any way that I can increase the Kms/ litre ratio for my Mazda Protege. With the recent hike in the gas prices, it is pinching a big hole in my pocket.
