Hi ,

Would like to know if there is a good alternative to Home Phone landline service to Bell.

We have a lot of VOIP providers like Primus, Vonage, Rogers etc but they are dependent on internet service being available.
Sometimes the service goes down or there is a power outage, there is no phone connection available.

Hence was wondering if there is a good alternative to Home phone landline service.

heard that primus is offering one but not sure about the service.

If there are any others, pls let know

Looking for regular telecom line alternatives to Bell, since VOIP lines are dependent on internet connection and power.

I am asking about regular telcom lines like BELL and not VOIP which runs over cable/DSL and requires high speed up and running all the time

My understanding is Rogers is not VOIP. Why don't u call them and find out.
