Hi Guys,
I added two more pages on the charcha section. If you have noticed, now the "Newest Posts" is hyperlinked. It takes you to the more newest posts page, where you can see all answered posts. You can also filter the results for a week, a month, a year or all.
http://www.canadiandesi.com/allposts.php?action=new&days=31
Same way the "Latest Replies" is hyperlinked too. It takes you to the more latest replies page with options - last week, last month, last year or all.
http://www.canadiandesi.com/allposts.php?days=31
Please use them and let me know if you have any comments.
Thanks.

Hi Garvo Gujarati :
This looks good for sure..
It was required in order to navigate the posts in a better way.
Just a quick suggestion, in case, if it sounds feasible -
Can a post be sorted in the ascending order of the dates (latest first) so that when anybody reads through the chain, may not have to go through all of them in order to know the current replies ?
Eg. A post dated 1st Sept has been replied until 27th Sept. and say, there are 20 replies to it... One can read latest post (with the abstracts of the main post) in some way ?

hchheda,
I could have done this - however on the first page of any of above methods will show you latest entries anyways, so I avoided it
For example
http://www.canadiandesi.com/allposts.php?days=31 for a month
and
http://www.canadiandesi.com/allposts.php?days=1 for a day (Yes I have days as a parameter, so you can directly modify the URL)
should serve the same purpose.

I did something for showing posts in reverse order. It looks weired to me.
Any feedback?

http://www.canadiandesi.com/read.php?TID=9181&orderby=DESC
This is not implemented in the interface yet.

GG,
Thanks for implementing the changes to the Charcha section to the site.
one request. Is it possible to show the post number in each of the post posted by an individual? also can an option be made in "Search in Charcha" so that the individual's posts come in an order from 1 to till date or the reverse.
For eg. my 200 th post out of a total of 1280 post should read 200 / (1280).
The reason for my asking is that it would be easy to identify the stages of the individual who posts messages. It will also give an indication of the flow of postings. We already have a date stamp but i feel that it is not very helpful in guessing the growth (or the opposite) of the individual. A post counter would make things much more easier to understand and comprehend.
I am also looking forward to see your 1-100 th. posting as well as BL's, Crenshaw's, Charlie's, SS's, Jake3D's, RajCanada's, Sankaracharya's, Chandreshji's by using this counter.
