Hi Friends, I have landed in 2003 and I lived here in Canada for 6 months. As usual I had a hard time getting job so I had to go back to US for my job. I got a job in Michigan, I stayed there for 7 months and moved back to windsor. By the time I had a baby born in US. From 2004 Sep I am living in windsor. 2005 march i went to OHIP office to check some info regarding applying Health card for my kid, they were asking so many questions and they took my and my wife's health card and cacelled it. They told me that I have not lived in Canada for the past 7months and I had gone to India from US. (I did travel to India from US because the tickets were provided by my employer which only allows me to originate the travel from US. I have invoices and necessary proof to prove it) they asked me to get back to them with all the residency proof which i submitted in May 2006 and waiting.

I had sent lots of proof to OHIP Dept. that to prove i am living in windsor. They got back to me with a letter saying that they need social group's name where i am involved with. I work in Michigan as systems Admin. My company is having offices in two different countris including India. My job hours are horrible, i am on-call all the time and i have run whether it is night or day, raining or snowing. I really dont have much time to socialize but i do travel to toronto every week on a business trip. so i gathered letters from every office and restaurants i go in toronto. Its been a month i did not get back from them.

Now I am eligible to apply for citizenship in 6 months time. Right now I dont have Health. But I have properly paid my taxes and filed tax returns.

In this situation, do i have to wait until i get my health card and assessment papers to go for citizenship or is it advisable to go anyway.

Will they see whether i have health cards or not? What do i do to sumit two ID for citizenship. I have Driving license and i dont know how to manage for another id??
