Hi,
I am a landed immigrant and i lived in Canada for a year and after a year i got married to am american citizen and i moved to USA, but my parents live in canada and have applied for canadian citizenship, I wanted to know that
"Am I eligible to apply for canadian citizenship" as i have heard that if you have not been in canada for 3 years but if your immitiate family members live there then you can apply for canadian citizenship.so is it true?
And I have one more question. "Can i have both PR card and Green card"
or" is it illegal to have both?"
or "is it just illegal to travel with both but u can still have both of them?"

---Not True, You need to fire your information source
And I have one more question. "Can i have both PR card and Green card"
-- Yes You could but if you take PR card after US Green card. US "might" give you problems and it is equivalent to abandoning US Green card.
or" is it illegal to have both?"
-- Nope
or "is it just illegal to travel with both but u can still have both of them?"
-- Nope

"Illegal" means against Law and you can be prosecuted for it. Having both is not illegal however If Canada sees you as a non -resident because you have a US GC, they could force you to give back one .
As you need to have a status to enter canada, You can enter as a GC or as PR but not both. You can either be a resident of canada or US not both at the same time.
