Tamil film superstar Rajnikanth has become a grandfather.
His daughter Aishwarya, married to actor Dhanush, delivered a baby boy at a private hospital in Chennai on October 10.
The 57-year-old superstar, along with his wife and Dhanush's parents, visited the hospital to see the newborn baby.
After the success of the film Chandramukhi, which brought back Rajni as the leading hero of Kollywood, the actor was busy shooting for Sivaji under the AVM banner, directed by Shankar.
The film is expected to hit the screens on April 14 next year, Tamil New Year's day.

Speech by Thomas Friedman of The New York Times....
"When we were young kids growing up in America, we were told to eat our
vegetables at dinner and not leave them. Mothers said, 'think of the
starving children in India and finish the dinner.' And now I tell my
children: 'Finish your maths homework. Think of the children in India
who would make you starve, if you don't.'"
Very Important news, every body should know!

Bala
Rajnikanth is the most successful star in Tamil film industry of the last 75 years, second only to MGR. He is also the most liked person within the film industry and press. Success has not gone to his head.

Well it is certainly a great piece of news.
After all there is nothing more important to us than the fact that Rajinikant became a grandfather. It's certainly more important than trivial issues like work, daylight time savings, RESP's, retirement, the GDP here, inflation........... and much more!
Keep up the good work!
"work, daylight time savings, RESP's, retirement, the GDP here, inflation........... and much more"
To be looked up in Filmi Gupshup column?
Perhaps Harrison Ford marrying/living with a girl his grand daughter's age would have been more appropriate.
