Hi.
We've eaten plenty of times at the Hwy 10/Eglinton location of Bombay Bhel as the food is good, customer service is OK and price is good!
This past weekend we were in Brampton and found a Bombay Bhel location and decided to try it.
Strongly recommend against it!
The customer service is OK .. the price is the same as other locations, the food is good- but the portions are miniscule compared to the Hwy 10/Eglinton locations. The plates are tiny and the food on the plate even less! Compared to the Mississauga location I found the Brampton place a rip-off.
Does anyone know where to get good dosa's in Brampton?
Thanks!

Xyza,
Thanks for the review.
Does Bombay Bhel at Mississauga offer any buffet? Even otherwise what items do Bombay Behl serve.
For Dosa's in Brampton, You can try Anjappar Chettinad at Steels and Hwy10. They do offer Buffet Breakfast on Weekends for $6.50 + taxes. The buffet BF includes Dosa's too.

I am a Gents and not a Ladies.
Bombay Bhel has Franchise locations, hence the double standard. They have a location, which is an actual restaurant in Mississauga. I don't exactly know the location but it's not the Hwy 10 location. They are pricey.

Thanks TK for the Dosa location, will try it out soon.
As for Bombay Bhel- they have no buffet, and as Sude Singh said- they are on the pricey side but the food is good- atleast I like it. And if you go to the Hwy 10/Eglinton location- the portions are good too ....
Its not your everyday dinner stop - just once in a while, ya know?

There's one in Oakville, too.
It's pretty good - no real bad experience, except that some of their stuff is stale and microwaved esp. samosas.
The service at the Oakville location is horrible. Just two person to wait on the crowd which is white dominated. So you can feel the attention being given to the firang crowd and not to the desis. We were three of us and we all got our food at different times. So by the time one received the food the other had finished. The option was to wait but the time gap was long and food was getting cold. And it is pricey too! Having frequented the Mumbai Shetty managed restaurants, I feel grossly under serviced at these restaurants.

There is a new bombay bhel outside the sheppard subway station. Samosa was horrible. The pani puri quite good and biryani was also okay....
the prawn curry was full of the biggest tomatoes and onions available..i would go back to taste the sev puri...
