I need to get my work permit visa stamped in buffalo, Can somebody pls ans these

1. How early should I start from Toronto (planning to be in the consulate by 8am)
2. What should I answer in the border crossing (I Have B1 visa)
3. I am driving a rental car - Is it ok?
4. The route to be taken

1. Depends on what part of Toronto you are. It should take atleast 2.5 hrs to reach Buffalo. At border, during normal workdays the traffic should be minimum. Before your day of stamping you may want to check the traffic on this website http://www.niagarafallsbridges.com/ at say 7.15 AM.
2. I am not expert on this matter.
3. It is better to have a rental car or car registered in Ontario
4. Check the traffic on the above site. and make your decision. The Raibow Bridge has more booths, so they can control the delay. Also there are no trucks. Lewiston has limited space.
