Once I read a news item claiming The Sri Ganesha Mandir (Hindu Temple) of Alaska as the Northest Hindu Temple.
Do we not have any temple in Canada that can prove this claim wrong?

I dont think ... Alaska is already North of all Major Canadian Proviances.
May be in Nunavut but I doubt !

GG and Mahraj,
A simple Google search can get you the answers.
http://www.hare-krishna.org/articles/107/1/The-Worlds-Southernmost-and-Northernmost-Hindu-Temples/
However note that there might be a very small hindu temples built by belivers, even norther / souther of the temples mentioned that might have been too small to be found in Google search. It might be prudent to assume the results of this Google search to be the answers from a practical viewpoint.

Just(u) saw the program called Shah Rukh Khan fever in Indonesia on NDTV. They had presented that Indian traders went to Indonesia in 1 AD. Hinduism including Ramayana and Mahabaratha went there between 150 and 500 AD.
Islam was exported from India after 500 AD. May be we have already exported stuff long ago and it is frozen and forgotten and may be it will all reveal itself when the ice melts through global warming.
May be AL Gore will find something in these lines !. We already have enough theories about Middle East already posted at various times on this forum !.
Did anybody watch a program called \"Story of Gods\" on CBC recently. They spoke about the Mayan culture in Mexico, Hinduism in Asia, Zorastrianism in Iran.
May be something will come up later in the lines of the book called \"Chariots of God\" where some white guy has tried to prove with pictorial evidence of landing/take off pads that people/Gods used to fly in B.C(Before Christ) in Vimaan !.

Speech by Thomas Friedman of The New York Times....
"When we were young kids growing up in America, we were told to eat our
vegetables at dinner and not leave them. Mothers said, 'think of the
starving children in India and finish the dinner.' And now I tell my
children: 'Finish your maths homework. Think of the children in India
who would make you starve, if you don't.'"
