I have a HP, three years old. Working fine .. no problems so far except I am finding it little slow.
It is 2.0 GB and 256 RAM.
How I can upgrade it to make it faster?
Thanks
Depends on your usuage.
I would prefer not to install too many things on it. Just Basic stuff.
And rather than up upgrading - buy new Desktop.

For RAM: Check your system's slot and depending on your usage, you may go for 512 modules or 1024 modules. Check the price of RAM on ebay
For Hard Disk: You can get a new hard disk 40 times larger than you have currently in about 80$.
However only these stuff will not ensure speed. What is your processor speed? If it is too low, You can go for a new system.
BTW, maharaj can also make a new system for you for cheap. (Doing some marketing for you maharaj without asking you )

Thanks guys for the inputs.
Maharaj is right, I am looking more for speed than space. I have 80GB of which only 35% is used.
If not new machine, I would suggest -
* Upgrade memory to 512MB (256MB more). Any other upgrade will not give you much.
* Partition your Drive into two. Use C:\ of 15G to 20G - only for Operating System & Applciations.
* Store all your Data in D:\ (No User Data in C:\).

Have you tried defragmenting your hard drive., That may help too. I'm guessing you have anti-virus and anti-sypware installed.
