As you have rightly said Indian Army is very professional one and it is not any rag tag set up of some banana republic. While SL Govt. ran to us before the treaty they back stabbed us half way through the implementation.
"Peace" became nobody's baby, but we had to keep it. The only time the Sri Lanka Tamils enjoyed peace was during the IPKF's presence.

I am a bit surprised. Normally SL folks dont insult our country. I know couple of SL folks (natives and tamils). They are always positive abt India. As per my knowledge of history, Sinhalese are originally from India. NASA satellites has shown the bridge that connects the two countries.
BTW, Buddhist monks in SL eat meat, drink hard liquor and smoke. May be u can make fun of them.
If its ok with u, can you tell what they are saying abt India?

The SL Tamils living abroad, prefer TN to their own country. They are holidaying here. Quite a few hotels run by SL Tamils for their own people have come up in Chennai. They also prefer to invest here.

TN, AP, UP or any other state in India we all are Indians. I respect and like to talk about India/cricket with own people irrective of religion or cast.
SL / Pak or any other country guys are foreigner and does not like to talk about how good we are doing abroad and in India. Even we have lot common between in culture Pak/Bangladesh/SL people.
