Canada slips to 6 th. rank in UN's list of best countries to live.
Norway is first in the list
Australia is 3 rd.
USA is 8th.
Is Canada's current ranking due to large influx of Immigrants and refugee's. Our Resource based economy is doing quite well. Then what was the reason?

For last many years, Canada is not making in top positions. The criteria are not ecomic only, there are many other factors. Health Care is one of them and we all know how bad it is - so it has to slip.
No surprise to me.

The UN index seems to be very broad...as it has to be.
I read the link. Apparently, Norwegians themselves aren't too happy with the high taxes in their country.
Also, the US ranks below Canada in the index. But it's clear where most of us would like to live given a choice.
edited.
First rank or 6th rank, does it really have any effect on Immigrants?
