Hi
Any ex defence services officers or Central Govt. service officers on this forum. I am looking at networking with people who had good jobs in India, came here, realized that they made a mistake but nevertheless took life's challenges, turned them into opportunities via education or deep determination and emerged as winners or are striving to succeed in life in Canada against all odds.
Also, I would like to network with those people on this forum who have fought with their destinies, taken life in ther stride, don't dwell on self pity and are trying to give their best to life here.
My vision is to create a network of the above mentioned people and then support each other in our endeavours. People with no officer like qualities can stay away from this group as they are not wanted. I am sure this kind of a post will evoke all kinds of responses, calling me snobbish or closed but I don't care. I am very specific in reaching my target population. Do you have it in you to share my vision !! Send me a PM if that suits you, I know you people are out there.
well, am an ex nda cadet (boarded out) and the son of a naval officer.

Jokes apart, I hope you stick around to find people who you like to network with. Many of us do network with likeminded people on the forum...maybe not as often as we'd like to but as often as we can manage to.

Thanks Jake3d and boyo for your replies. It's been two days since I began this thread but I have just two replies !! I guess the loneliness continues! I agree with you, Jake that this forum is a medium to reach people and one may not succeed in reaching the targeted population. I will continue to participate in this fascinating forum with very interesting people and hope to make friends. I couldn't make my own group but have joined a larger group - Canadian Desi !! Cheers.
