Just a comment from the aviation freak:
The picture on the CD showing a KLM 747 landing at Princess Juliana Intl Airport in St.Marteen is not a perfect landing. The plane touched down well before the runway threshold.
The touch down should have been after those yellow triangles (the no touch down zone) and at or after the white threshold line.

Biomed has a collection of weired plane actions and this is one of them. I am sure he must have used "perfect" intentionally.

It is not a negative reflection on biomed. It's a great picture. And it's a very safe landing, just not perfect in aviation terms.
The edge of the runway in St.Marteen is very close to a road and the beach. So, people can see planes flying into the runway from the water at about 80 feet above their heads. You can literally feel the jet blast.
More of such pictures are found on http://www.airliners.net" rel="nofollow">LINK and few videos of St.Marteen landings can be seen at http://www.flightlevel350.com" rel="nofollow">LINK

Are you there?
Hi Dimple2001,
I believe Biomed is lampooning the situation.
Maybe you are lampooning the lampooning?
I don’t think this plane touched down at this spot, there is no smoke and any other sign of being touched down. Although I am not an Aviation freak but as far as I know plane is still in the air,, might be few inches or feet ( being a non freak I am not sure about this).
As I heard, at St. Marteen, because of shorter runway this type of landing is considered perfect.
