Hi Guys,
I need some help in deciding the place to stay.
I am working at Warden/Denison (Markham) and my wife is working in Mississauga(near Dundas/Dixie). we're deciding on the best place/area to stay? Please advice . we don't have the car so the crucial factor would be accessibility of buses/trains.
Thanks,
Hi,
Assuming you need the place to rent, here is how it looks.
- Rent an apartment close to Islington Subway (there are atleast 4-5 apartments available).
For your wife:
- Take the Mississauga transit bus that leaves the Islington subway station.
- Dixie / Dundas is about 15 minutes (by bus) from this place.
- A monthly pass will be economical.
For you:
- 5 mins walk to the subway station.
- Take the subway to the Warden (45 mins approximately).
- Take the TTC bus to Denison (Not sure about the timing, but there should be a TTC bus operating and expecting about 30 mins)...
- A single monthly pass will be economical...
Hope this helps.... Good luck...

Thanks JRF.
But when you say apartments are available, do you mean that there are some apartments that you know of, are vacant and are to be rented or it's just a general idea that there're apartments in that area ?
Thanks again.
Well, I am not sure about the vacancy. I was referring to the existence of rental buildings.
