Hi CD's,
Anyone out there who knows good reasonable places, outlet stores etc,
to buy good cross training shoes.
Checked Sportschek, walmart etc but do not have much variety like in U.S.
Mainly looking for shoe with good shock absorber which can be used not only for running but for gym, tennis, badminton etc. brand names are fine too.
Any suggestions?

Not walmart
Go to a sports store and talk to the rep. Running on sidewalks is not the same as running on treadmills etc. Looks like you will be using it mostly for indoor sports. Prob ably shoes for cross-training will fit the bill.
I prefer ASICS.

Bottom line...buy good shoes if fitness is going to be a good part of your lifestyle.

New Balance shoes are one of the best for cross-triaining and running.
Si vous Play sports is a good place to look as the selection is huge and the prices are very reasonable. The warehouse location is on Steeles just West of Hwy 27
