Hi,
I have a post grad degree in a field which is completely different from the various fields in which I subsequently garnered work experience (total 13 years, with 3- 5 years per line of work).
Does anyone have any idea as to how the points calculation should work in my case? Do the CIC authorities give points for a qualification which has no relevance to what I have claimed work-exp points for?
When I'd applied for immigration, no mention was made in the CIC website about the above being a necessity.
Thanks for any input.

Hi,
Thank you for your reply.
Going by the same bench mark, I guess I might end up getting no marks for my experience.
That's really bad.
It does not matter if your education is related to experience or not. As long as your work experience is in O,A or B class under NOC class.
