If there is ever any doubt regarding your presence in Canada for a period of 2 years out of 5, the onus is on you to provide proof of presence. The ideas you are suggesting do not meet those requirements.
Of course if you want to still take a shot and try beating the system, that's your choice, but this is definitely difficult to pull off for someone whose means of entry and exit from Canada is by air.

My clarifications for the queries raised.

1) I would like to retain my PR card for the benefits comes with it. I'm not interested in Free Medical or Free Education but the Facility it provides in accessing Canadian / American Markets ( for a person like me who plans to run small business).

To make you think again...........what exactly are the benefits you will derive by having a paper with you which would show that you are a Canadian PR? Will other businesses give you contracts because you are a PR? I very much doubt so.

And if atall, soon they will also care to ask you why aren't you a citizen?....if they are really worried about your permanance here in Canada.

Moreover, now with PR card, the Canadian immigration keeps a full record of your presence in Canada.

On a side note which is more moral.......aren't you doing injustice to your fellow desis by depriving them of a chance of living in Canada, and at the same time depriving us residents/citizens of your valuable contribution diretly to our society here????

Points to ponder upon Suresh!

I'm ready to report my earning / Company earning in Canada and will be paying Individual as well as company taxes for the revenue generated by me

I'm also ready to maintain assets / Money in Bank in Canada.

I'll be also visiting regularly Canada for my business purposes.

2. Also i would like to mentioned that I like Canada and loved verymuch my stay there when i was present for 8 months prior to applying my Canadian PR in Work Permit.

Thanks gurus and pls Your inputs are very valuable to me.Looking for your guidance.

Thanks

Suresh

Fear not Suresh. If the point is to access the market, Canada and US welcome you to do business in any passport. Canada and the US are pro-business. You do not need a PR or a Canadian citizenship to set up a business here. Here is the link the Govt site that shows you how to do that.

http://www.canadainternational.gc.ca/dbc/investment_canada-en.aspx" target="_blank">http://www.canadainternational.gc.ca/dbc/investment_canada-en.aspx</a>

As for your stay here. Again Canada loves tourists. Do visit as many times as you like. We always try to make your stay as pleasant and exciting as we can. Here is the official Govt site for travel to Canada

http://www.canadainternational.gc.ca/gtc/Choosing_What_to_Do_in_Canada-en.aspx" target="_blank">http://www.canadainternational.gc.ca/gtc/Choosing_What_to_Do_in_Canada-en.aspx</a>

Finally, a canadian consultant working in a foreign land is a grey area of the immigration law. Your tax-filings and an active bank account will help. An address in Canada, a drivers licence, and other documents to prove your recidence like property tax bills etc will help. In the end, however, it is at the discretion of the agent to accept the "excuse". If rejected, you can go through the appeals process and make your case to the adjudicator.

But then, why go through all of that if you can enjoy Canada's beauty and hospitality with a visitors visa. Plus do business without any tax implications! Dubai zindabad!

To retain your status, you have to be here for 2 years out of 5 years (within the period shown in your PR Card). It is illegal any other means and the risk is yours. By the way, occassional vists will also do not satisfy this requirement because your two years physical presence (accumulated or periodical) is the regulation.

As Texancanadian said,
you can have your family stay here for the 2 year period, and in the mean while buy a house, and therefore you will be paying the tax here. and I hope you can use as a source of tax payments.
but still you may require a lawyer to get your citizenship application.
hope this helps.

I don't think any lawyer should/would be able to get you citizenship if you don't physically live here for 3 years in a 4 year period. Of course maintaining PR is a different issue.
