Dear Mr. Massood
I have accepted an offer from an Canadian employer and if every thing goes well then, I would be coming to Canada (Nova Scotia) around June 2007 on a "Work permit" . I have a school going daughter aged 8 years. I have 2 questions to ask.
1. If I have a workpermit, then is it necessary to apply for study permit for my daughter.
2. Second question is regarding school fees. I intend to enroll her in Public School.
I checked the website
http://www.hrsb.ns.ca/content/id/264.html
and found the following information
"
Category I
* Children of parents holding Employment Authorization. No tuition is charged for these students.
* Children of parents who are in the country on a Student Visa. No tuition is charged for these students."
Can I assume that Work Permit is Employment Authorization and therefore no school fee would be applicable in case of my daughter.
Thanks
work permit is employement authorisation ...
at least in Toronto and montreal should be same elsewhere too ...
