Hi guys
Has anyone installed a TV wall mount at their homes? I recently bought a 42" plasma HDTV and want it to be wall mounted in my basement. I have checked the prices at bestbuy, futureshop and they are outrageously high. Any suggestions where to buy the mount and get installation for a reasonable rate?
I have seen TV Mount at Costco. I believe it should be cheaper than outside. I am not sure what you are looking for.

Even I am in process of looking for a TV wall mount. There is a company called MUSTANG, which makes good economic solutions.
try toronto.craiglist.org , this is off course a website for used stuffs, but sometimes you will see advt from manufacturers directly.

What price you are being quoted which seems outrageously high?
Anywhere between 200-300 just for the mount is reasonable. However, you have to be very careful for installation since it will require installing only on studs, not anywhere on the wall.

Yes best buy and futureshop will cost more than $250-300. Is there any cheaper alternative? Also how can we locate studs in the wall?
I found this one at Future shop for 310. Seems good to me and then you can always get it cheaper by talking to the salesperson.
BTW, can't the supplier of your plasma provide you with a wall mount? I am more than certain that he will give a better price for the same product than anyone else.

Here is something I found.....a company from US is selling this adjustable Wall Mount.

Total cost including shipping to canada comes out to be USD 75 which sounds reasonable.
But then how do I do the installation? Can some one do it for me professionally and at what cost?
