Hello:
I've been working in the US since Oct. 2005. In Oct. 2006, I renewed my TN Visa at the Canadian board (I'm a Canadian national) for a new employer and was given the visa right away. Unfortunately, three months ago, my employer told me that funding had become difficult and they couldn't keep me beyond the end of February.
I looked around and found a job asap with UCLA. I was told by a lawyer I consulted with that more than one employer can sign the TN Visa. So, UCLA hired me.
Today, Payroll told me that they had made a mistake and they don't think that it's that easy even though I've been working there for almost three weeks. Now, I'm not sure what to do. My employer is very supportive, but what do I do?

Go to the Border with the paperwork from UCLA. You should get another TN with 1 Year I-94 with UCLA on it..
