i really think it was all Dravid's fault...the first game against Bangladesh..he won the toss and chose to bat when he knew the field wasnt gr8...he shud have gave it to bangla...that was a stupidest decision by a experienced captain...
Why are people buying products or services endorsed by this non-deserving, over-ranked, under-performers ? The key is: Don't buy anything endorsed by them and the sponsors will get the message.
I never bought anything for me or my kids that was endorsed by highly-paid athletes.

Yes, It is practical. We put these atheletes on the pedestal, so why can't we not bring them down ?
We also have tendancy to quickly name them "heros".
Do you think wearing "Air-Jordan" shoes will make me excellent Basketball player??? Why should I pay inflated prices for the product because it is endorsed by some highly-paid athlete. (I did enjoy watching Jordan Play).

Well my point is, if the product is good, let me buy that.
Why should I refrain from the product just because Dhoni or Sachin appear in the commercial. And if I am a savvy buyer, I wouldn't buy some product for the sake of the same Dhoni. I admit such commercials add lot of glistering to the products (for sure).

Did you guys watch the Bangladesh innings against SA? It just finished and boy oh boy, what a delight it was - especially the last ten overs! They ahve really given SA a run for their money. Whatever SA does now, I have developed a great respect for these Bangladeshi young lads!
