There was some ad in the newspaper I saw recently. It read for the same post call and register for a screen test.I did not notice it in detail and also forgot the newspaper name. Its the newspaper which is circulated in TTC buses and subway,in the last but one page.
Why dont you try calling Radio Canada or Chum FM and talk to one of their staff? Or visit one??

you may be someone to the world but for someone you are the world.
You should get in touch with CMR radio that is Canadian Multi Cultural Radion 101.3 FM. They are constantly looking for newsreaders and also for program presenters.
The popular programs are Asian Connections by Ranvir Chauhan or the Geetmala by Sahota. You could try them also.

Speech by Thomas Friedman of The New York Times....
"When we were young kids growing up in America, we were told to eat our
vegetables at dinner and not leave them. Mothers said, 'think of the
starving children in India and finish the dinner.' And now I tell my
children: 'Finish your maths homework. Think of the children in India
who would make you starve, if you don't.'"
If you have the RJ in you, you know it and once you know it there is no stopping you. All the very best Simmi.
I used to radio host on FM in Bombay and Montreal and the way I got into Bombay is thru auditions (so keep a ear open for auditions when you listen to your fav station). While in Montreal I called the station up mentioned what I was looking to do and went and met them.
Hope it helps
Also recently CHUM was looking for people to audition for their Entertainment Beat Slot..not sure if you missed the bus on that one, but please have a look at their web-site
