That's what we were thinking when we lived in Canada, but think about it, your child is sick today and you get the appointment after a month. What good is it going to do. Talk about walk-ins try it and their diagnosis was always different than what our family Dr.

Since you would be Canadian you can always have your Physican in Canada in case of emergency. Lot of people do that. Earn in US dollars and spend in Canadian.

The medical that you get in canada is not free, lot of taxes get deducted from your pay-check. In USA you do not pay that much taxes so that's first savings going into your pocket. Yes, US is little bit expensive than Toronto, but if I am earning double what I get in Canada for the same kind of job, I do not mind paying little extra. I still save a lot.

I am talking from personal experience I don't know if person who says not to go to US has any personal experience or not.
I know with all these suggestions It could be very hard for you to decide. Best of luck.
