The article deals with what the immigration firms are doing in Canada. Most of them claim to be a CSIC member. Some are members while the majority of people in the office are non-CSIC members (and who are not allowed to give professional immigration advice).
The joke is that almost all these members (Indians and Chinese) suggest permanently settling in India via the refugee route or fake marriage route.
Refugee route is $1500-$3000 for a claim where as the fake marriage route is 20K to 40K. The irony is that they will provide lies to process your refugee claims and you get $ 550 is assistance after your refugee claim is approved.
I think that Canada should BAN altogether refugee claims. It has become a joke. Also there should be a watch dog , governing and overseeing all these immigration offices.
I also feel that the another immigraion agency should have been targeted in the under cover operation. The reporter Nicklos Keung is a friend of mine and i shall send him an e-mail regarding them. Also Nickolas is the immigration reporter and is very interested in interviewing Indian immigrants quite often regarding their view of India. This happens based on the need of his article.

This is not something which should be so secret for the law enforcement agencies here. The problem is just skin deep and can be cured if so desired. Canada needs immigrants; and the class of (most) immigrants entering country by this (illegal) route is very helpful for the purpose. Many of these immigrants file their cases in Montreal, live there for some time on government assistance plus cash jobs, move to Ontario, try to create minimum problems and don’t ask too many questions and most importantly, just work don’t think too much; hence highly suitable for a class of jobs.

After coming here with my 20 plus engineering experience, on one of my earlier labor job, when I told my supervisor, “I think…”; “Don’t think, just work fast. We need work here, not thinking”, He shouted back.

(I am not commenting that all this is going on is legal or correct, but many such things continue until pose some danger and rather helps. The system may not be liked by people like me who comes on point system and find things very different what they conceived prior to landing.)
