No, I don't think so, just to be on a safer side keep a copy of your old clearance. This is my personal experience, may be others who differ can share their views.
I agreed with jonav, b'cos when your PR file in process that time they needs all the information and PCC etc...., I think PCC is not require while you are in fly or not require to show at the landing time even, but for safety you can keep copy of your PCC for you and your family.

I think when you get a communication on sending your passports for stamping, your passports need to go with a latest PCC.
You can get it done in one day at miscellaneous service counter in your regional passport office provided you have a PCC stamped earlier.
