Massoud or immigration experts.
I have few questions which I see answers in here but not very clear to satisfy.I need more information. So I would appreciate if you answer me again in simple form.

1. I am in US on H-1B. My H-1B extension is through and have revalidated my Visa on my passport(which was expired) on January 20th 2004. I also have my Canadian visa for landing ready on November 10th 2003. I am planning to land Canada end of March with my wife and one kid who are on H4. My Questions are:
(a) Can the immigration officer at the port of landing question me why I revalidated my US visa when I have got my Canadian Landing visa before that. Can he say that this shows I have no plan to stay in Canada and hence deny me landing?

(b) I do have plan to settle in Canada. But before that I want to work in US and save some $$$s since I have a full time job in US and can work for another 3 years( 6 year H-1B limit). I have no intensiom of applying US Green Card. Our plan is that my wife and kid will stay in Canada from the day we Land and I will return to US. I will visit them as often I can. My wife will stay in our own apartment and work and kid will go to school. My wife will pay tax andI will also pay tax(how I have not found yet).We may also plan to buy a small house in Canada depending on credit history and Mortages. My question is: Will the days stayed by my wife and kid in Canada count in for our/my citizenship? or will I have to keep count of my own days in Canada? Will my wife and Kid get Canadian citizenhip in 3 years since they r going to reside in Canada?

Please I need a answer that solves my question.

Thanks in Advance

a) yes but it'll be a long shot. Don't worry about it.

b) you have to accumulate your own days. They'll get their citizenship after completing the 3 yrs.
