Hi guys,
I am new here. I did the search but could not find the answer. If this is old question, I am really sorry.
I am a foreign student living in US. I have friend who lives in Toronto. I visited him quite frequently by car. I had a multiple entry visa which was expired last month. However, the last stamp in my passport was on Feb 17th, 2007. I am going to visit him this weekend (Aug 3rd, 2007). Do I need new visa, or the stamp will allow me enter Canada this time because of the six month period has been passed?
Any suggestion will be highly appreciated.
You will need a valid visa to enter Canada. Since yours expired last month, you will have to apply for a new one.

If you have a valid visa, single or multiple entry, you can enter any number of times b/w C and U UNTIL your visa expires.
Also, If your visa expired today and if you entered C yesterday, you could stay in C for up to 6 mo. But if you left C next month, you cannot re-enter C since the visa has expired as of today.
Visa dictates entry and not stay. Stay is dictated by the border officials.
