Hello everybody.
me and my family are planning to visit Canada, and we live in Norway. We have free visa entry to Canada and America and would like to know which places are worth to see in Canada?
The reason why we are comming is to see if there is any potensial to later settle down here. Could you please give us some advice about which cities we should see, and where to stay.
If we want to see both Canada and New york within 3 weeks tour, how should we plan the trip?
looking forward to hear from u guys...
A very high-level overview -
Cities you may want to visit in Canada - Toronto, Montreal + Quebec City, National parks in Alberta, such as Banff, Niagara Falls + wine region and a couple of National Parks in Ontario.
3 weeks will be busy but ought to be enough.
You can either drive or fly to NY.
You will need at least 3 days in NY, if not more.
Plan yourself 2 weeks in Canada, 3 - 4 days in NY and a couple of days rest in between (camping out in Algonquin or Banff).

Thanks for comments pratick, how much does it cost to take plan from Canada to New York, and how much time does it takes to drive from Canada to New york. Which hotels are good to rent in a reasonable price?
Do you have internet in Norway?

I trust your Norwegian is pretty good, but if you are planning on settling on Canada down the line, might be a big help to improve your English. The trip should help I guess.
Thanks for comment knife, yeah Norway rules... but you know it's in human nature to find a place which is even better. Dream about finding the perfect world
I would love to see your Canada and therefore it will be very helpfull if you guys could provide me more information about what to see and where to see. What is the difference between Ottawa and Toronto, and if I am not wrong is'nt Ottawa the capital of Canada? What about Vancour? Montreol? No national parks please, I am a urban person, and don't like junglezzzz.
Cheers
If you are looking for a place to settledown later here are the big cities that you may want to checkout:
Toronto (City similar to New York)
Vancouver (Big City)
Calgary (Big City)
Ottawa (a smaller City, Capital of Canada)
Montreal & Quebec are old French style cities and worth visiting. It is better to know French if you are planning to settle in one of these two cities.
It is easiest to go to Newyork from Toronto(but not cheapest as flights to/from Toronto are usually expensive) .
