Hi ,
I need to know the staying in Canada rules after one has acquired the citizenship on completion of the 3/5 year requirement.
Does on has to still stay in canada 3/5 years even after acquiring the passport?

Thanks patrickm, for your reply, this in effect lets me stay in India and file my taxes from canada, and maintain the status

Once you become a naturalized citizen, there's no status to maintain.
