For a considerable time, I was a regular listener of \" RADIO VOICE\" (on 101.3 FM, 3 - 5 PM, Monday thru Friday. The show was co-hosted by DEVIKA MATHUR & DR RANVIR SHARDA (Homeopath).

Their discussions were lively, and they spoke on a wide range of subjects - all the way from the state of the economy to new immigrants...........

I was surprised, when I recently tuned into the radio to find both hosts missing...... instead I heard the voice of Shalini (who spoke in Hindi) and Geeta (who was the Punjabi host).

While I find both Shalini & Geeta quite entertaining, I am wondering what happened to DEVIKA MATHUR & DR SHARDA........... Is there anyone on this forum who would have the answers?

Is there someone, who knows their coordinates?

I used to listen to Desh Pardesh (I forgot the program name on AM530 between 4 and 6PM) BUT I noticed that if any hindi speaking person used to call the host, he always used to greet him with Sat Sri Akal. I believe there is misconception that all Punjabis are Sikhs. There are more Punjabi Hindus in Toronto then Sikhs. For last few months I switched to 101.3 FM.

Howdy,
Does anybody know if there is a South Asian radio channel that devotes some time to finances, market news, stocks, bonds, mutual funds, GICs, RESPs?

I mean like a comprehensive one that invites gurus pundits maven experts to voice their opinion? Even if it is a weekly program?
Please do let me and other CDs know. I am looking for one that does it in either English or Hindi(Hindustani).

If not, do you think there is a market for such a program? I do know that the majority of Indians are always looking for ways to to invest.As a matter of fact whenever there is a gathering invariably the talk shifts to investing.

Good Job ... For a Radio Jockey, I found him Rude. Even though I liked Devika's Voice & presence - I hardly used to turn on because of Dr Sharda.

I'll check them today riding back home.
