I tried to get the letter on the RTO letter head, but looks like they dont have any letter head. Atleast for UP.
How can I go from here??

Can anyone pl. let me know how can I get my Indian driving exp counted while making the Canadian driving license?

I have a DL issued in UP. The authorities in Canada are asking a letter from India. Where can I get such letter? Does the UP RTO ofiice has any letter head?

Anyone's exp will be a great help to me.

pls do a search, this issue has been dealt previously. Get a letter (even the format is available in this site)from rto from India indicating your driving experience and show the same while applying here

In my case such a letter did not work and I had to get my license translated by a certified translator from BC . But I am in NS .

Congrats !! I am due to appear for my vision and written test tomorrow / day after . Please check your PM / email .

It took 1 month to get the translated license back from BC . Thanks to Amrit Chandran , certified translator , whom I found about on another thread on CD.
