What the hell is wrong with u bxmca?

Pointing fingers is all you can do.....u said somehow everyone knew that he needed help.....what did u do to help him....did u try to trace him down? did u try to find out that if he has a place to stay....did u transfer any money to his bank account? what did u do? and then u talk abt adding value addition...dumb F*?#.

Theres a word for people like you in Oxford dictionary...Hypocrites.

And what the hell do u mean by...'how ur tone changed'. Once again...this is a discussion forum for God sake....what r u supposed to do other than post what u think about a particular situation. That man made a stupid decision and I told him that he did.....theres nothing wrong in calling a spade a spade. And yes...if he needs help...i'm up for it...provided he is willing to accept it. I don't live in a virtual \"value addition\"world like u....i live in a real world and believe in reality. the reality is that he made a bad choice....the reality is that I was surprised y wud people make such a choice when so much is at stake.....the reality is that I'm a human being and very well understand the need of help and I have always been and am up to help. But what u can do is 'talk' abt value addition and criticize other people who like to live in a real world unlike u.

And pls...next time u post something in this forum....let all of us know how much value addition have u done so far in the concerned person's life...ok.

Manjeet

Damn it!! This is just soooooo funny!!!

This was a dead thread! It died long long back! Actually it died more than a year ago!!

For whatever reasons, manjeet resurrects it.

The thread was only a page long before it sank. Amazingly it has added more than a page in the last few days.

MazdoorDTA is, in all probability, not anywhere around to read the "help" that is being considered, the"advice" that is being offered!! And he is also missing out on the real fun part!! :D

Posters yelling and fighting with each other on something that he posted more than a year ago!!

Man o' man!! :D :D :D :D This is really funny!!

Just speaks abt ppl showing their sunny side up !! esp on forums where they know no1 knows their hidden side :p

Well I feel that u can add value and help some1 else and make a difference to his life just by being with him -- the least ..... even on a forum !!

I have been around for 2 years now and feel proud of the fact that so many samritans have added so much value 2 me .........and I have tried 2 return that with others .............. help, sympathy, advise, companionship r not unknown words --- r they ??

BTW who r v 2 b judgemental upon sm1 else --- if at all v r humans -- what may appear as stupidity 2 some may be a piece of wisdom 4 others .......... and being judgemental doesnt help no1 when a person needs help.

Sorry I might have misread the post but the tone it conveyed was indifferent apathy and w/o any tone of help........... if u tell a person he s made a mistake is meaningless.

The value lies in helping him turn it around 2 his benefit . For that u may share ur expereinces and provide advice if u can .

Manasvi.

How do you know it is a bad decision? You analyzed the situation and trying to say that it is a bad decision! Will you able to predict that before somone lands in Canada? There are no guarantees as far as finding job is concerned. Two people with exact same qualifications and experience can have entirely different experiences as far as finding job is concerned.

If the guy after say a year or two of struggle lands in a decent job (according to his standards), what would you say then?

You know manjeet, the fact that you would move towards calling me names is funny.. and certainly shows me the type of person you are and the lack of maturity on your part. If you want to discuss or debate.. do it on the facts.. I can see that it is not possible for you. So.. you are a human being and I now have a chance to add value to you- here it is:

I think discussions such as this are meant to open your eyes to other choices you could have made when communicating with someone else. Perception is reality and the way you are seen(from all sides) by others goes a long way in life and in business. If you dont manage it.. you are bound to be misunderstood and in business as in life.. it will cost you. If you come across as judgemental, self-absorbed, what i know is the turth attitude, and lack empathy then you will piss enough people off that they will come after you once thy get a chance and you will never be a leader of any type.

In an effort to practice what I preach.. as I read your post, I thought to myself that you may have a point.. till i got to "That man made a stupid decision and I told him that he did.....theres nothing wrong in calling a spade a spade".. then it occured to me that you still didnt get it and as much as you say you want to help him.. you still have the wrong attitude.. You are ONCE AGAIN! imposing your realities on him.. without ever asking him about his circumstances and his realities. THAT IS THE DIFFERENCE.

If you real world is full of people like you.. then yes.. I prefer mine. If your post added any "value" then it is that deep down you have shown that you still think that this man made a "STUPID" decision.. and you have NO interest is understanding his situation.

Enough value-add for you?

Empathy is defined as: Appreciation of another's problems and feelings without experiencing the same emotional reaction. To be distinguished from sympathy, which is usually nonobjective and noncritical

You make this point well.. would manjeet's opinion change is MazdoorGTA got a job as a IT director in a week? Interesting .. isnt it?
