Don't go by some one's exp.
Take this as guidance & decide yourself
I know many people are not happy with ICICI, Canada
But I still think, they are BEST paying Int rates for C$ as well as US$
Also if u have any account in ICICI India, its easy to transfer money FREE with 24 hours
Very few bank offers this service FREE
Also remember ICICI Canada, CSR are sitting in INDIA
I found they are good enough to give proper info, but may not be BEST
But who cares, if u get good Int rates
Also to my surprise, local banks in Canada are of same category in customer service except TD Canada. I can name few like RBC, BMO, Scotia Etc.
if you go to any of this bank they hardly provide proper info
So it's all individual exp
i have had the same problem with ICICI ...informed ICICI, the same thing happened again and immediately closed my account and my father's ..
and some other wire transfer problems too ...
close the accounts ...that s the best ...

Are you willing to put up with shitty service for 2 points of interest rate?
2 points doesn't make a big difference unless you are holding hundreds of thousands of $$ in the savings account.
And if you are, you should probably look at other options.

I bank with Scotia and have found their service level to be excellent.
OTOH, TD service level in the branches was pretty bad (compared to Scotia).
However, TD's online service level was actually very, very good.

Money2India used to free. Last month i was charged $4 bucks per transaction. so it is no longer free.
