Hi I m planning to arrive in Canada in March 2008. I would like somebody to help me to seek a job in Canada. Though I am a public relations professional with 10 years of experience but I won't mind working in Sales / Marketing / Customer Care. It should earn me around 1500 to 2000 Canadian dollars.

You can get a job in retail sales/customer service in retail stores like Future Shop, Best Buy, Staples, London Drugs, Walmart, Safeway, etc. They used to pay around starting salary of $8 to $8.5 per hour when I was in Canada, don't know if it has gone up now.

You can also try call centre jobs which might pay more if it is a good company.

Most of the times it is difficult to get a break in public relations/sales directly except in retail sales/call centres.
