Hi Guys,
If I am inviting my parents on a visitor visa and they are currently living in New Delhi, where do they have to send their application? Is it directly to the Canadian High Commission or there's any agency? If I am not wrong then I read somewhere that you have to send the papers to this centralised agency and they forward your application for visa in Delhi.
If the latter is true, can someone please provide me the details of the same?
Please suggest.
Thanks in advance.
Thanks Dude. I really appreciate your response. Sorry, I have one last question. Temporary Resident Visa checklist also mentions to provide 'Photocopy of your return valid ticket (if you have one)'. If we don't plan to buy the ticket before getting their visa, does it affect the application anyway? What if my parents buy the tickets and they don't get the visa (as a worst case situation)?
Thanks.

You can give a tentative itinerary, if you wish. That's what I always provide. Dates of to and fro journeys, flight numbers etc.
Visa app can be send directly to the high commission or thru VFS. Directly to HC takes Rs. 56 per person and VFS 600. Only advantage with VFS is, there is a tracking service and the visa, in general, may come a few days early. If you are not in a hurry, you can as well save the money.
VFS probably check and confirm whether all papers are in order - which works as benefits both ways .
I wish to know whether the CHC advises medicals for all people > 65 even if the visit is for less than 6 months ? Do people know of people who were recently given visit visas and were not asked for the medicals - as with medicals the time period increases by 2-3 months and by then summers would be over

Fido.
