US green card - Family sponsorship.
My sister applied for me (petitioned I 130) in June 2007 and I got my I 130 approved in Feb 08.
When I go online for different service centers they all show they are clearing I 130s submitted in 2001
for sibling (brother - sister) category after which they are moved to a dump awaiting a visa number.
According to hooyou.com visa bulletin all I 130 petitions filed in 1996 for this category are
receiving their green cards as of now.
How many more years am I looking at ?
Please advise.

It generally took about ten years.
Now currently takes a shade longer.
Your time lines are correct from that web site or anyother. It could change.
India Abroad is another publication that keeps track of the time lines. Ask for a copy at any of the Indian Book Stores or order one and pay for it.

Thanks for the reply. My question is for family based / sibling sub-category the INS is clearing I 130s that is about 7 years old at the moment while mine got cleared in less than a year.
Do they clear all I 130s for all family based petitions in the same time frame.
Have I jumped the queue by 7 years as they cleared my I 130 in less than a year while processing times for clearing an I 130 in the same category is about 7 years right now.

The family sponsorship has a different priority and they are trying to speed the same up currently.
The applications are dated and numbered, so they have two means of processing. But the time frame is what decides the processing periods.
If in your case, they clear your files earlier, consider it as a bonus. But all the others would also be benefitting by the quick processing times.
The Queue system still holds, unless the others have some hurdles to jump. So you will go through sooner than the others.
