Legally No.. Practically, you can. But you will have trouble when you travel to Canada. At Airport you will need to show the Visa or PR card - and as a Canadian citizen, you can't show either. If you take out your Canadian passport - with no arrival stamp and foreigner's regn (if reqd), you get in big trouble.

You are required to sell it off prior to forfeiting your Indian citizenship. But then again, as long as you look Indian, you are probably not going to be caught. Legally, Govt can take over the agri land from you.

non-Indian Children of Indian passport holders are not eligible for OCI... They can only apply for PIO. So, it still serves some purpose I guess. Yeah, OCI is much better than PIO.

the PIO fees were rather high until i noticed that an OCI card is just the ideal thing for my fly. can never know when shit is gonna hit the fan here and will have ot move back home lol
